Are you sure you can't replace those two angle connectors with two 20 cm extenders and save 4 kgs?  That would get you enough weight to add a random razor somewhere.

Also, a Nifty is actually just barely enough power for that.  All spin motors drain 100 power and the Nifty supplies 400.  It won't last long but it will be at full power for a while.
Well, for some reason I felt the plow had to be in the middle. Strange anyway... I'll see how it turns out.

SCv4's Fury lasts even less time than my bot, energy-wise. And I don't really want to get rid of one of the plows for more energy :P (Also having to rebuild the whole thing... xD)

Random thing I built while messing around with the possibilities of snapper loading.

DSA. The drive is attached to the snapper.

It was meant to be a LW.

I don't know what to do with it.

Well... I have to sink the plow further inside the bot. It's gonna be really boring and messy to do, but I know a way to do that.

A slight problem is it was meant to be a LW, although I can double the irons if it's gonna be a MW. But probably I'll have to change the wheels and I'm too lazy to do that whole thing. Whatever.

But I don't know what else to do with it.

To change the wheels, justed take of a iron, put rad on it, snapper it out, change the wheels tada. Then you would have weight to double up the irons. And to get the plow closer, put the extender it's on right below the other extender.

Err... To change the wheels I just have to rotate the snapper and hope none of the razors irons get in the way of the wheels.

But now that I think of it... I can do that to reattach the plow... Thanks :D
And rather than put that extender below the other extender, I can swap the 40cm that's inside the snapper, for a 20cm. That'll do the same, but also get me 2 more free kgs... Like I needed more weight anyway.

:P

DP

Updated.

Shinies don't get to touch the ground when inverted. I'm sticking to grannies.

12 irons went over the weight limit, 6 went too low below it. So 12 razors.

Edit: So many typos... And nobody noticed! :P

I really hate the shape of that chassis for some reason. You sure there isn't a cleaner way to do that bot?

LOL why?

Well I tried to make it tighter this time than on my other bots, and if I make it just one notch lower, the hpz that's pointing down wouldn't be there, or at least I'd have no idea how to attach it.

Although if someone can give me an idea or tip on how to make it lower I'll most probably redo the whole thing.

Try this one:

Snapper with the arm sticking out of the front of the chassis and the hidden circular AP towards the batt. A sideways 20cm extender into the chassis from the arm and another sideways 20cm under the previous extender. Those are your APs for the weapon motors. Then you can probably fiddle around with an angler or 2 20cms for the plow. If you're assed enough, make the drive static so it won't havok. :P

Thanks, Pwnie :gawe:

Well, due to rule of 7 and weight issues, the weapon arrangement on the tribars is now just like Loxosceles Laeta's.
One extender with three razors on each tip.

Anyway, how did the taskbar get in there? I pressed F11!

Love the use of snapper.
By any chance could you upgrade the drive?

You can put Redbirds on this.

I didn't come up with that use of the snapper. Pwn told me to do that :P

I tried placing redbirds in there. I had to make the chassis bigger and put plastic on it, but according to my math it'd still go overweight.

So now that I think of it, I could place another plow like I did with my last bot. It should be quite easy...

On a side note, it needs more protection or maybe stronger weapons. SCv4 Fury beat it while staying nearly undamaged. xD

@Pwnator: I attached the plow directly to the bottom 20cm in the snapper. And I could put a second plow on the other 20cm. No need for more extenders, hehe. Thanks.
@Clickbeetle: About that other bot. I did swap the angled things for a 40cm. The difference isn't worth another snapshot, but I don't know what to do with those new free kg's :P

Thanks, Pwnie :gawe:

GAH D: D: D:

You should probably find a way to shed that 0.7kg so you can upgrade the outermost razors to irons.

You don't need a bigger chassis.

LW version of Loxosceles Laeta.

(Image removed from quote.)
Remember this bot?

Well I've got a new setup idea to let it have a sixth razor without going overweight. And since I don't remember very well the weight of every component used in it, I might even be able to put DSA on it.
I'll go build it in a while. And, as I said earlier, I plan on doing this with most other bots I showcased here. Just hope I get ideas for them as well :P
And since I lost the bot file, I'll have to eyeball the chassis size again. >.>

@Pwnator: Sorry :P Anyway, if I put plastic on it, will it become just too weak and therefore not worth the change? Or should I rather rebuild and shrink that chassis EVEN more? xD

It looks like you can lighten up that extender work.

Oh, and let's all troll Pwn by calling him Pwnie. Unless he is faking a negative emotional response...

...Hey I just had an awesome idea

Rebuild of obvious bot I showcased long ago.
Plastic armor (...). Easily beaten.

Turns just fine, but since I've got the plows (two on each side) I could rotate the drive.

Needs moar wedges.

The drive setup is kind of cool, if you're sure that it turns good.

Also, you'd probably be better off rotating the Snapper II's 180 degrees (just the axle mind you, no need to rebuild everything) so the face spinners cover a wider area.
