As for what I said, it's just that Scrap is a proven and highly respected stock builder, so what he says is correct 99% of the time. This was not in the 1%.

Well, there was an earthquake yesterday here in Chile.

I went sleep around 1:00 AM, the magnitude 8.8 earthquake (if I said it right) started at 3:30 AM some minutes after a short circuit happened on the whole country, and as I didn't wake up my sister Valeska was screaming my name on a safe zone with my other sister Karen so I could go with them.
It lasted around 3 minutes and a few minutes after, mom came back from the house of a friend saying she only wanted to see us all and then everything was calm.
All the photo frames (Is that right?) broke while everything else was safe.

I fell asleep at 6:30 AM (duh) and woke up really late XD the TV was turned on and I found out it was a disaster for the country while at my house it seemed like nothing too big had happened.
We called everyone and got called by everyone as soon as communication was restored (everything had shut down) and now I'm telling you about this.

You should be watching the Chilean TV right now.

Here's what I wrote yesterday :P

15 minutes before the earthquake Valeska's cat ran away and still doesn't come back, and Karen's kitty hid under her bed 5 minutes before the short circuit.

I went out from home to see what happened around my neighborhood.
Nothing! Everything was still. It was full of cars going everywhere just like always. A lot of people walking to different locations.

My school is close enough to my home to see what happened to it - nothing either.
Everything was still the same. The supermarket wasn't filled with broken stuff.. It was full of people. They didn't let me go in just for that.

When I came back in I found out VTR (my ISP) had stopped working, which means the phone isn't working (my cellphone is fine though), the TV is showing an 'offline' thing and the Internet doesn't work either.

Since there's nothing else to do, I'll play RA2 until the Internet works again and post this. Yeah I'm writing this offline.

Update: By the time I write this, VTR still doesn't work, so to watch TV we had to plug in a common antenna.

I just built a Micro Nightmare replica in DSL, repainted and named that nameless HS I made before the popup, and built another HS that would easily be treated as SFTW if you knew how bad it fares. XD

Please note Valeska's cat came back today. ^_^

If anyone doesn't know about the Loxosceles Laeta (I don't think so), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chilean_recluse.
In Chile we call it Araña de Rincón, which is like "Spider from the corners".
Because they always hide there.

I entered Solenopsis destructor in CombatAnts 2.  Granted, it's a made-up species, but the genus (fire ants) is correct and destructor is a proper Latin species name.


Oh, and Loxosceles laeta has nothing on Phoneutria nigriventer.  Possible name for a HW version.

I've had a few bots with abridged scientific species names, the Bullet Ant series and my stock piston rammer with maces to name a few.
