Alright, you know what? I'm kinda' in the mood to re-build something.
So I'm going with the infamous Big Dog, because of that EMERGENCY thread I made:

Now for the "challenge" aspect, I'm going to force myself to leave the chassis the exact same way, armor and everything.
The only thing I'm going to modify, are the insides.
I'll probably end up turning it into a pop-up, as the chassis has implied flipper-action, when really it doesn't.
So yea, lets how this goes over =D

Its not the armor thats the problem. Its the chassis in general:

1. Find out the value of DSS.
2. BFE.

It's making the bot unbalanced so it's not allowed.

It is. BFEing armor on isn't allowed unless you BFE DSA, which is possible in game.

Scrap the bot -> Make a new one -> Make its chassis roughly the same as the original Big Dog -> It has DSA.
Why is that rocket science?

Well, in this case it's not rocket science, because the chassis is (excuse me) crap and simple.

A pixelperfect trimmed down chassis is a BITCH to redo, often it takes longer than the bot building itself (for me).

Big Dog chassis has Double Strength STEEL. All AI chassis are double strength, and Big Dog had steel IIRC.

Use DDT wedges, you has room.

Use 6 DDT wedges and cover the entire thing with casters. That should take up some room.

Well, it's original, I'll grant you that. It's probably going to be painfully slow, and somewhat underpowered. And somewhat fragile with that exposed front.

Also, I don't really plan to update this bot, as it more of a "Because I could" concept.
