Also, from what I hear, DDTs make the bast wedges, so you could like upgrade the wedges to DDT motors with that extra weight.
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.

It's not THAT bad. :P

Just give it 4WD and upgrade the weapons with the free weight.
Also, from what I hear, DDTs make the bast wedges, so you could like upgrade the wedges to DDT motors with that extra weight.
BOTH OF THESE SUGGESTIONS FORCE A RE-BUILD.
......
Which is probably the best way to go at this, since I had very little room to fit things in to begin with.
Also, almost all of the Grinders I've ever seen have always had 2WD >___>

Most I've seen are 4WD.  A lot of them stack the drive on Snappers so it looks like 2WD, though... perhaps that's what you're seeing.

Been a while since I posted something:

Again, I got really close to being able to make an insta-killer.
On average, it hits around 2000 damage. Which is, of course, terrible :/
Pretty much I was just having fun with the oh-so-generic U-shaped chassis.
And I am well aware the insides are a mess, with the control board in there.... somewhere... I dunno.
All in all, its pretty mediocre.

You're getting there. Just rotate the ramplates by 90 degrees and it's already much more protected.
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

Its supposed to be more of a ramp, but sure.

Guys, I think I'm on to something:

Its weight was like 500-ish, but thats beside the point. This is another one of my various "idea-bots" that usually never work out in the long run.

Wouldn't it just be easier to have 2 iron spike clad arms on each disc to help with balance? You have the weight to play around with.

Seems like a neat idea. I'll copy you, just like I did with Tyler's bot.

But then it becomes an HS :/
The point is that I'm playing around the same bot-style as Sabertooth/Little Metal Friend.

Because I had never made a LW pop-up before.
I'm thinking the front ramplate might be a bit much.

So I got around to updating LW - Gemcutter:

.....Wait, wrong image.
(Still pretty lulzy how Gemcutter gets under EMERGENCY)

Anyway...

The chassis is a little empty, I know, but I had to make room for the blackvolt anyway.

if you rotated the black and brought the wedge back, you could probably get some anchors with extenders sticking out the sides.

looks pretty good now though

Not sure why it would need side extenders, but ehh....
Oh, and the Black and the Snapper2 hardly fit together in there.

Though I noticed I could try and put the SnapperII on its side and try and make the chassis a little flatter.
But then I wouldn't really know what to do with it, aside from adding like 1 more razor.

*Felt like posting my entry*

Believe it or not, but that hammerhead is actually useful.
Because I can use Sonic Rainboom as either a piston rammer, or as a Sit-N'-Spinner.
Oh, and the "mohawk" keeps it from getting stuck on its back. Yes, I have tested it before, and it would ocasionally get stuck on its back. Those 2 added extenders let it wobble and allow at least 1 of the wheels to be touching the ground, if it were to end up on its back, which keeps it from being immobile. Its pretty funny how it works, really.
So GTM, any suggestions that aren't related to me re-skinning it?

I still don't like the fragility of it. If you put the drive motors on individual baseplate anchors (might take some trial and error to get the stack right), I think it'd be slightly more durable.
