Honestly, u seem to have a lot of empty space on pops v2 (more than what is needed) and most good(if not all) pop ups have wedges on snapper motors

With the chassis wedge being such a sharp angle, it kind ofmakes it hard to put anything inside the wedged area.

Here is my entry for Doomed Bots (if it gets approved). It is just basically something I had sitting around stock Team HQ that just needed a few tweeks.

Big Pops:

DSA
1 Supervolt, 2 Slims
HP Z-tek Drive
4 iron spikes on a burst

I'm proud of this bot, because it was the first bot I made with stacked batteries.

I know it is a bit under weight, but there wasn't much else I could do to it.

Looks ok but, use razor tips on popups as they do damage from all sides. Also You could try to save lots of weight on the chassis and removing the side armour and put in an extra DDT. Also I'd take out the pinks.

It needs a wedge attached to a snapper.
Overkill on the DDTs. Switch them to razors and remove some.
Lots of chassis space.

Four razors on a ddt is HEAVY.

*sigh* its 4 irons. with 2 razors. yes its heavy. But dont give him the idea that you can only have 2 razors on a DDT or its too heavy. You have no testing or experience to say such a thing.

Alright, how does it look now?

It is 30 kg light now, but there is nothing else I can do with it.

This is why I prefer DSL...

Make the green snapper stand up to get a better angle for the wedge (and to reduce the space it needs). Trim down on the chassis and maybe add a second DDT with 4 Razors on all the DDTs you have. If you still have extra space in the chassis, then make the wedge slightly longer.

that was said about my Pop Up in RODE but it one the first round (then again that match was void) but i was still getting under other bots :wink:

as for the bot if you keep the chassis much more basic you can be more space efficient.. example sloping the sides now you can get anything close to it yet if you had them straight you could have put 2 blacks in there if you really wanted (rather then the pinks)

I was going to enter a basic pop up into this tournament but it looks like half the bracket is also... I have a new design I have been playing around with but it borders on trinity glitch

I don't see any problems with it so yeah, its approved but try to keep improveing it. Congratz on the stack blacks ( I have yet to stack a black)

Well, it's time to dust off the showcase again. This time for my possible entries to RAW 2...

Approximately 398 kg each
Armored with good ol' DSA

These are only possibilities, I may go in a completely different direction. Especially after some opinions.

why not build one the other way? with the battery on the right instead of the left? so they would be mirrors of each other.
