HaZaRd155's Stock Showcase
« on: July 06, 2010, 02:42:25 AM »
Coming Soon! First I need to stop sucking at MS paint saving.
It's I before E except after C, and when sounding like A as in neighbor and weigh, and on weekends, and holidays, and all throughout May, and you'll always be wrong, no matter WHAT you say!

Shin kthe chassis

use wedges

allways use many Razors for hammers

you only need front flippers unless you want to be creative

armour it with ramplates

have a look at other showcases.

Snowplows are pretty bad at wedging, you should use small wedges (in the extra's section). Battle axes are only ever good for armor, and suck as weapons. You don't need back armor cause rarely will you be attacked from behind. Don't use pink batteries except for special cases. It's a nice use of chassis space I suppose but looks like you just drew something and put stuff in it. Try to design the bot and then make the chassis around it.

Welcome to GTM's showcase!

First pic looks like a terrible resizing job. Bot's...interesting, to say the least. First order would be to replace the plows with wedges, and the battleaxe with razor tips.

Good chassis spacing, I suppose...at least you got the wheels right. =P

An improvement, definitely. Not sure the axe heads or spike strips do anything, though.

Maybe make it 4WD, and add some protection to use up the extra weight.

Remove the axes. They're not doing much.

no. If you want any back spinning weapons try something like an HS, and you won't need it at all anyway.

Bots rarely attack the back , so it's best to remove them.

Also, You spent a lot of weight just for 4 wedges. 2 DDTs should be fine. Replace the central DDT with an anchor and add some armor on (2 plows or a weapon rack is recommended, since you wouldn't want your bare chassis as a stopper). With the free weight, add weapon to your 2 non-wedge DDTs as hammers.
