IIRC axes fail on hammers. USE RAZORS, irons, maces or bear claws (unsure about them though)

@G.K - Sometimes.

@Naryar - Then why did Sage use them on L for Lick?

I don't remember sage using axes on hammer weapons. Maybe on static weapons for rammer hybrids, yes, but on DDTs ? I don't think so.

L for Lick had more hammer weapons that weren't axes. And its over 2 years old XD

Also, I think that you should put something to keep bots from getting up onto the top of the bot. (Like the plows on L for Lick). Keeps them away from your DDT and extenders, an within range of hammer.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Those axes were there to protect the extenders. they didn't extend past the razors, which do far more damage. In later versions (as well as fatal encounter and final destination) only razors are used.

^LOL, whoops. :P

Here is a fail that I was going to use for my challenge with Pwn:

The wedges SUCK. I've tried spinning the spinners up and down and it doesn't make a difference. Oh well. Back to the drawing board...

Now that you've made the challenge, you won't be able to make a good wedge. :P  Maybe the "must be unshowcased" rule wasn't such a good idea...

On average though, VS's tend to have worse wedges than popups or jugglers.  I think it has to do with the higher center of gravity.

I thought it was because the spinning forces of the weapons lifted the front of the bot off the ground.

Yup. I'm thinking on changing it....

On average though, VS's tend to have worse wedges than popups or jugglers.  I think it has to do with the higher center of gravity.

Yup. Most of the VS' that I have made have really bad wedges.

I thought it was because the spinning forces of the weapons lifted the front of the bot off the ground.

Some VS' have great wedges, though.

I thought that too... but then again RA2 throws sense out the window sometimes

Agreed.

If the VS's are spinning upwards, then I thought Newton's second law would push the front of the bot down, resulting in better wedges. But if they're mounted on snappers, then they tend to bounce the robot instead, rendering the wedges useless.

YES, BECAUSE ADDING BALLASTS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF YOUR BOT WILL MAKE YOUR BOT VEER TO THE LEFT

But we all know the the ballasts will push down on the wheels more and aid traction. =P
