How are they cheating?
They were in the game, like the A.I parts. You don't even need to make .txts for them.

If they weighted the correct weight (or even 14 kg) i would be OK with them, but 5 KG... no !

But they have been accepted in the community so, why can't these extenders?

I meant they are not balanced because they have an absolutely horrible torque/amp drain ratio compared to other bursts = aka we can use them since they're really bad :P

The extenders are as legal as any other AI part. There's nothing anyonce can do about it.

The only reason why Snapper II's are not balanced is because of the way that we use them (they weren't initially used for stacking nor were they planned to be used for stacking until several years later).

The extenders were not officially included in the game for a reason. The developers hadn't gotten a chance to balance/fix them. If they were to be introduced, IMO it would be on the same plane as changing the HW weight class to 900kg and still calling it stock. Just because the original file was included with the game doesn't mean changing it (so that it shows up) is still stock.

The AI parts are just as balanced as the normal stock parts (as unbalanced as they are). The extra extenders are not.

But you also pay bigtime for the fact that those huge extenders have 100hp, so the slightest touch takes them off. They suck in their own way, along with being quite impractical to use in most situations.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

If you don't have to create a text for them, what do you have to do? I mean, you have to add something. The stock AI components were just un-hidden.
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

Extender Debate #3 (A.K.A. Gazea2's showcase)

Why can't everyone just agree? These extenders could bring some life to the stock community. And, anyway, I don't really need them. I could use different ones.

I wouldn't makes 140cm wedges anyway, I'd be flanked to death. And would probably lose them immediately with the 100HP deal.

The snapper2's are far back in the bot, though, so they are like 60 cm wedges.

That's what I tried with HaleStorm 4, and it didn't work at all. Wedges sucked. And they were on DDT's. Although maybe that's my fault.

In my view, the 140cm extender should only be allowed if we edit it to the correct weight (35kg, I believe). If we leave it as 5kg, then it's a massive NO, in 72pt Impact Bold font.

My wedges slide right under Hot Wheels'.

Why? It's like any other hidden part in the game. Anyway, like I said, I could easily change my wedges.
