You're doing it wrong then... the wedge needs to be sloped the other way, so the bottom of the bot becomes the front when it's upside down. You can't put caster armor on that front wedge so it will end up being exposed an nullifying the advantage of any casters on the top.

I'm pretty sure Scrap Daddy has an upside down caster armored VS somewhere in his showcase. Maybe look at that for inspiration.
