I've been thinking of how to achieve 4WD and get the HPZ's on the snapper.

I'm thinking a T from the visible AP and the HPZ's off it.

As such, I need to free up 85.3kg (As I have 3.7 left over) for 2 HPZ's 2 Shinies, and a T.

What I plan to do is take off the following:

A ramplate and BA from each side
The spike strips
Downgrading the rubbers to shinies

That leaves my overall weight at 799.3, if my maths is right.
My above post explains everything about everything.

Right, rebuilt. I can't do maths though. This is 'Xanana, Falintil Leader'

797.7, DSA, 2 Blacks, 8 razors on 2 DDT's, Airtight chassis. Got to tweak the wedges.

Any thoughts?

Use snapper2 wedge's, they're better.

Nonsense. It all depends on the individual bot.

And anyway, the best stock wedges I've ever seen have come on Grade-4 Whiplash, which uses DDT's. It's all about the individual bot's adjustment.

What kind of wedge dose Nuclear Fallout uses?

And beside's, if he uses a snapper 2 wedge, he'll get more weight to add more weps at the hs part.

Bird's the word

I agree with Marty, and the ramplates could be moved to protect the corners of the chassis more.
Yay G.K is building again :D

DP: Here's the new bot:

2 blacks, DSA, 8 razors on 2 DDT's. Chassis as before.

Wedges not as good as previous incarnation, which may have been the most wedgey stock bot ever. Need to tweak these ones.

Would have liked to see how Spectre (one of my HWs on the bot exchange) would have done against it.

I like it, definitely better than the previous version. Awesome ramplate setup is awesome.
Reminds me of older bots, what with the setup and all. You've also given me an idea for a bot, so thanks! :P

My bot Windmill gets under Nuclear Fallout like 50% of the time, and it uses DDT wedges...

Compared to the last version it's as wedgey as D.O.G. though....

You've also given me an idea for a bot, so thanks! :P

My pleasure. :D

Thankfully this stack won't hinder my bot building. I hope I won't need a 3rd black though.  :gawe:

Here's the bot. Ended up going over the WL and making it more for looks.

If I wanted to take it below the WL, I'd remove some of the casters. Any suggestions on how to take it up toward the SHW limit? I can add 36 kg with more casters, but beyond that Im stuck.

Perhaps 20cms on the discs with razors pointing outward, and perhaps some more pointing inward to damage bots going up and over the top, plus protect the exposed motor backsides. That'll eat up another 128kg, but that leaves another 134kg to use up. Aside from more drive, I'm not too sure what might work.

It looks like a pretty good design, if a little underweaponed. Maybe widening the spinners, and adding some kind of ramming setup inbetween might offer a bit more attacking power, a bit more of a defensive setup, and eat up a fair chunk of the remaining weight you've got.
