Why not just use 2 baseplate anchors for the drive? It would be much lighter.

No bursting.

I'd have to stack the anchor and CB into a battery then or use Hax mode to do it, and I can't really be bothered because I wasted 2 hours toying about with axle bursting to an extent where I'm just bored of it now when I was making some HS.

Just use movepixel if you don't wanna use Hax mode.

Because you happened to put it on the bot exchange, I ai'ed it with a generic rammer AI and tested it against my entry for teh lulz.

It drives like a drunk, and it can't win anything because before it can get any good rams in it decides to turn around and lose its wheels.

Just saying.

Showcasing over, update time.

A test to see if I could make a crawler with decent control, made this.

Doesn't flip repeatedly, sort of floaty movement, but still is a crawler.

I like the fact it is a HS too, and I added more weapons because it was just over the weight limit due to the chassis I chose.

The Y-connectors are there because each 'wheel' is technically an Octagon that way, and combined with the shallowness it allows for you to move about without chipping away at your own weapons.

The math for minimum required weight for a Hovercraft arrangement like mine would be 150 for a HPZ and Octagon arrangement (Y connector/Iron Spike)

I'd say that is about 300 KG at the most, but you could alter it slightly and cut down the KG by maybe 50 with alternate setups.

Taking away the essential weight of a Nifty/2 pinks and a CB, that leaves about 78-128 left for Chassis, How you attach the HC arrangement and any other weapons you'd like to add.

When I say controllable I mean it, the thing is only as bad as a newbie to an ice rink, which is not as awful as most others.

Holy heck, System32's still around! How ya doing, man?

That bot... holy smokes. It looks like nothing I've ever seen before in Stock. That really is jaw-dropping. I can't say much because I don't do Stock anymore, but... wow.

Gah, Stupid RA2.

 http://filesmelt.com/dl/screenshot_1.bmp

Sparkey's challenge.

Also, One of the very few stock bots to be able to use FBS.py!

I propose the weight for these things is increased to 89.9 KG, and called a FL (Fleaweight)
think you could reupload this? im curious

It's wired up like drive motors but in reverse.

2nd post: It was a one wheeled HS thing and no I won't. That was a PC and a laptop ago and I can barely remember it.

This image explains it. It moves like a crawler but doesn't flip because the motors are gently angled.
