Anyways, I think on a popup the wheels should be at the very rear. Here your snapper acts as counterweight and diminishes the wedge's efficiency.

Cool. Chassis could probably be tightened up somewhat, and I would attempt to space the wedges out a little bit more. Reminds me of my False Popup entry into RoboLeague.

I would just not bother with the snapper holding the drive. You seem to be using 20 kg with it. Maybe it'll be better with a more fitting (yes, i mean BIGGER) chassis and baseplate attached drive motors.

omigosh 2 bots in 2 days that must be some kind've record for me:

Has about 12 maces, dsa, one black, and i would have cut down on the space but the grid line doesn't like to be that thin.
ohyea it has hp ztek drive and wep motors.

Too fast and exposed for my liking. Certainly deadly, though. I'd try to lighten up the extender work, and get some slower drive on there. Rotate the Blackvolt 90 degrees, and you could easily shrink up the chassis a little bit.

that's what i was thinking as well. The only thing is that glitching the wheel motor and wep motor on the same extender is a pain in the rear. It took me like 30 minutes to do the first time. Ohwell. Maybe i'll have some free time later today to fix it up and maybe put a snowplow on the front and downgrade the drive motors.

With the exposed front like that... the mace layout on the second picture is more effective. Bots with weapons spinning inward from both sides usually have to have some armor in the front to keep their prey at bay. I agree with the slower drive idea.

Looks good though. I like it.

Edit: Derp. those are pics of the same bot... :P So yeah... uhhhh have the maces spin outwards and keep the hits away from the head of your exposed chassis.

It has 1 ramplate for armour, 12 maces, 1 black, regular ztek drive and hp ztek wep motors.

making invertible = can't be arsed because i'm too lazy/don't have the motivation to do it. And i'm making a vietnam war team and this is the middleweight, so the name kinda fits. :P

Ah, I see. I just thought M-12, since you were using Maces, and there were 12 of them. That also explains the camo paintjob, though.

But I would definitely try and increas this bot's invertibleness. It'd be a shame to see it lose simply because it gets stuck on its back.

I would look for a different setup that would allow it to be invertible and attach the weapon motors directly onto the t connector. I also think it's better to have a mace on the end attachment point of the extender instead of in innermost one.

Seconded.

Also invertibility isn't as critical for HS as long as you can make them flop around while inverted.
