I think my old showcase got deleted :S
anyway
FML...

the collision meshes are all over the place. It's quite unstable and I think the random collision mesh is the reason...or it might just be the sheer mass of it all... anyway to fix this?

Nice setup there. I'd maybe try to have the wedges further apart, personally, a bit like Heaven's Sawmill. I don't think there's any way around AGOD, I always end up having to Pause before I start a match.

That AGOD might be because of the way you attach maces on VS. Try pole spikes, and change them to maces via BFE.

*realizes something*

BY THE NINE FIERY PITS OF HELL WHY IS THIS SO PAINFULLY SLOW ??? You MUST know 2WD HPZ is a minimum on HW VS !

If you stacked the two Black Batteries together, you could shrink the chassis up enough to get the two HPZ drive on there.

Axle Glitch Of Death. Where the display and collision meshes don't match up, and the bot becomes unbalanced or unrealistic as a result.

Methinks its unstable because the whole bot is build off Snappers.
Snappers USUALLY do that.
Well, Snapper 2s really.

The AGOD is for two reasons.  One, the axis of the Snapper II's is vertical.  Bad idea.  What you're doing is roughly akin to trying to make vertical flails, though not nearly as bad.  That VS would be very bouncy even without AGOD.

Two, maces are naturally more bouncy on VS's for some reason.  Iron spikes would probably be a better choice.

It would be an awesome design if you got it to work... I mean it's basically like a vertical Little Darling.  That's scary.

I think that maces have a very nervous collision mesh... so all it takes is one to fall out of whack and then it is downhill from there.  Unbalanced spinning, then the rest of the CM's get out of order.  Might be due to the complexity of the component.  Has anyone ever tried to edit the Mace component and remove the spikes to see if it stabilizes the mesh?

Maces have a cubic (or near-cubic) mesh. Still have no idea why they're so bouncy on VSes when there's virtually no woble at all in HSes.
