Yeah I'm going to rebuild the whole thing later with stacked, less space etc. but I'm surprised it does pretty good for 1 battery

Dude, the setup is exactly the same xD So pretty much... different chassis is the only difference (minus a few weapon/armor things).
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

If you look closely, both bots have drive and weapon setups in Snapper IIs. Those have 2 attachment points instead of one.

i see...so let me see here, the DDT's are on the anchors, so the wedges are attached to the DDT's...but on the second bot how is it that the weapon zteks are out of the chassis like that, unless its  connected to one of the snapper II's? or is it on an anchor and it just doesnt look like it? and you have 4wd so either you have all of them connected to 2 snapper II's or you somehow managed to stack a battery in them?  :vista:.... do you maybe have an inside pic of the whole drive showing? like move the snapper so it shows how its set up or something? that an interesting design

I can't show you the insides of the 2nd bot since it's not mine (it's Sage's), but here's the setup for the first bot:

As you can see, the visible arm holds the weapon motor while the hidden AP (the one with a grey square on its side) holds the drive and the plow (removed).

Whoops. I BFE'd the height of one of the snappers for ease of viewing. Each snapper holds 3 HPZs (2 for drive, 1 for weapons) and a plow.

Attaching the drive on the invisible attachment point is easy. Through snapper loading though, I was able to attach the weapon HPZ on the visible arm and the plow on the drive setup. Get it? :D

RA2 keeps crashing so i lost all my bots :( but oh well. i have a question how the heck do you know when your making a hammer bot right? i want to make one like how everybody has the extenders slanted and what not, but how do you know when there slanted enough to go over the top of plows, ect?

Trial and error.  Fight some horizontal spinners, and if the hammer extenders get hit before you lose your razors, it needs to be curved more.

why does that remind me of a certain clickbeetle bot?

cloning/copying won't get you many comments, I suggest you try things you don't see in showcases instead of things you do see as you will get more interest... that is why Click is so popular :P

......i understand that, BUT to get better at a CERTAIN bot, dont you have to practice? therefore all i did was use some of the same features as CB since mostly all his bots are epic. im sure when you first came here you didnt just start making certain bots right out of the blue right? you took a look at a showcase, took SOME features from it, used them, and became better at building that certain type of bot. Im sure CB did the same, Sage did the same, everybody probably does. And its kind of hard to come up with a design that isnt seen in any showcase out of the hundreds of people that are here. It may be easy for AW because theres rarely any of those around, but lightweight to heavyweight is kind of hard to make an original design when your first starting out. anyways thanks for telling me that.
