hey bud welcome to the forums :)

fun bot, good job making it invertible. this is of prime importance for a rammer. you chassis shape is cool and all, but if you want to be competitive against other members in tournaments and against the hard AI packs you can download, let's focus on making it more efficient.

i HIGHLY recommend reading this, it's basically mandatory for new players and teaches you some very useful concepts and techniques:
http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm (http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm)

basically, the prime objectives for this bot is getting more spikes on by lightening the bot in other areas. there's many things you can do to lighten the bot up to get you weight to add more weapons, mainly shrinking the chassis and using a more efficient extender setup to hold your weapons. if you get the chassis height juuust low enough to put the HP Zteks in, you can get by on using the shiny hub wheels, which are the lightest wheel and have the same grip as all the others.
try to make it a habit to post the armor and weight of all your robots too, it helps us out a lot.
i'll be glad to see whatever you come up with man, good luck :)

taking all the info into consideration...
MEET GuH!

just tipped the Heavy weight class (INGAME)

its a vast improvement on GAH! very little weight loss and a fairly robust bot :)
Thoughts?

Try to build to the weight limit. HW tops out at 800kg, so right now you have a bit over 300kg of weight to use, which could go towards stuff such as more weapons.

Also, try to avoid Y, T and ane connectors, as they are weak and heavy. Check other people's rammers to see how they've attached their weapons.

Oh, and you should never touch the armour tab in Stock. By drfault the bot has DSA (Double Strength Aluminium) which is the weight of aluminum armour but stronger than steel. If you set it to something else, like Titanium for example, the only way to regain DSA is to remade the chassis.

Pretty good for a first bot tho!

The second bot, GuH!, has no armour (DSA as you have said) however, adding more weapons? Isn't it going to cause the bot to go slow/lose a little drive?

You have enough weight to get six wheel drive. Do that first, then load up on as many razors as you can. More weapons are always better.
