Title: Best Havok Explosion you ever had ?

I was just fighting 2 Borg Queens with my SHW (1340 kg). Quite easy...

I knew this would be a "explosive" match...

Works using the havok explosion servos do when twisted too much. a lot of my stock spinners suffered of that.

Havok explosions risk occurring when you break an external motor, or best, if you break stacked motors, servo/burst-enhanced motors, or use stacked pistons. See Venko's Total Chaos for a good havok example.

Ripblade is pretty good on havoking too.

Yea, a havok is when a bot moves violently and without apparent reason. An "explosion", to make short.

Speaking of Havoc explosions...
Im not sure what is exactly a havoc explosion but whats this : ...
Sometimes when my bots have just regular pistons ( not for glitch ) they are ok in garage but when i start fighting in arena vs AI sometimes my bots get buggy and disappear in the black void...Then i dont see it but AI oponent start to hang around and game start to countdown for me... Exactly look like if you forget to remove anti-ballast and test bot but i dont have anti-ballast on this bots so...
Is this a havoc explosion too ?...
If you cant get it i can make a video or somethin ...
I dont know way this happen to me... The same bots are OK on other computers... But i didnt do something with my game... Its a clean install of 1.3 patch only and Starcore... No more things added.
Please someone help me to remove this "Hudini disappear glitch" ... I cant use normaly my bots...

This is getting out OOTA. Yes, this happens, but it is rare for me.

No, if you stack pistons with another thing, or use too much pistons, it lags. And if you use glitches in multiplayer, it lags more (see your BW that went OOTA in 2 secs)

I had a cool havok one time. I was a stacked hs with irons playing my freinds hs and it was towards the end of the fight and we had lost most of our spikes. It started to havok and irons were flying through the air and it wouldnt stop. It looked awesome.

Yeah. That happened to me too in multi. One time I was fighting with CUDA, Venko and Sage. I saw razors vibrating in the air, or stuck in the wall, broken wheels making spirals on the ground for no reason, or worse getting teared for no reason.

Or even Venko's Lil Chaos getting OOTA in 2 secs in another fight.

Multi is a PitA to fight when it lags badly, but if you like seeing crazy havok explosions (way meaner than in single), it's paradise.

This was a cool looking glitch.  This one-man combat vehicle, armed with 4 of madbeaver's cannons and 4 of ACAMS' (unreleased) Machine guns, both on a Rotory Gatlin-Gun system, obliterated the other bot in it's track (leaving only the wheels... hehe).  I wish I'd had Fraps running, because the sparks were flying more than I'd ever seen...

If a bot is hit by 3+ cannon balls symultaneously, and just right, then this will happen,... although often the bot is just totally anihilated with no trace or such fireworks display.

Best havok I've had is against a flail shell spinner in DSL...threw me out of the combat arena. Still don't know how that works.

So I decided to fight my new (unfinished) bot, Hiroshima, VS an older one, Sellafield 2. (two bots named after nucleur plants, what could go wrong?)

I recall seeing a havok that lasted the entire match happen to Intruder Alert in a random battle royal. It basically flew around the arena the whole time, bumping into walls and stuff. It eventually stuck itself up against a wall and stayed there for the remainder of the match.

There has been a few havoks in CC3 videos that were never shown

one the arena has killed a robot, its casued by the robot itself havoking into an arena wall and for some reason has been KO'd

another one was Naryar Havoking and getting stuck in mid air for the whole match :P

My best Havok Explosion was Missile Test against Shilka in Robot Wars arena. Shilka went on the Floorflipper, and fled towards the Pit. When it was above it, it fled OOTA. Me and Temi laughed.

I was doing one of my 128 bot tournaments using a bot with BFE'd Iron spikes. (So there were 2 on each tribar point), and suddenly it just started flying around the arena, and kept going after the match ended.

I think I was fighting Grog with VQ2 for the 47millionth time, and I managed to knock an axle mount off, and Havok'd UNDER the arena. Didn't manage to get a shot of it, i was too busy wtf'ing.

you can see after 2 seconds elapsed time Naryar's robot is still frozen in mid air.. it was an odd havok

I don't have any pictures of this, but one time I was fighting Grog the Vengeful, broke his shell off, and we both got flung halfway through the wall of the combat zone. The weird part? His chassis was intersecting mine.

I have a few, no pics though

One was when I was using an old LW and I was fighting Impact Event, he knocked my motor off and I glitched into the endless green area outside the BBEANS3 arena.

Then there was one today. I was using some random MW hammer bot and it managed to tear off one of Arcade's weapon motors. Then after a few seconds Arcade started glitching everywhere.

The last one was an upgrade to Mini Moo (in my showcase) vs Frenzied Snowman. Somehow FS lost his weapon and it killed my game, I had to reboot my computer.

Same thing kinda happens to me on my PC. If I ever get a massive Havok Explosion, I get the blue screen of death.

I flipped Second Sentinel with Bulldozer 2 but in doing so, one of my flippers was caught on top of his skirts, so my flipper started to buckle. Then I went flying off into a pitch black area above the arena with out being eliminated. I could see my bot floating in what seemed like outer space

You mean like copying the parts and then the AI into the importer? I tried that with the Killerhurtz axe and it didn't work for some reason.

Battlebots AI that works in DSL. Unballanced just includes AU parts and replicas.

I might upload a version of DSL I have specifically for building replicas. It has DSL and AUBB plus tons of custom components.

I once had a havok (If you can call it that) that crashed windows. The hover bots armor intersected and then they went flying away and then boom BSD(Blue Screen of Death)

I get the BSOD after really big Havoks all the time because I don't have a certain "Microsoft Security Update" that it won't let me download.

Lol, I was watching one of my AIed bots fighting A SHW in the combat arena. There was this random havok (no motors removed:s) and my bot suddenly vanished out of sight, and the other bot was at the wall doing nothing, lol.

And then once, I put an CarbonFiber Extender Antiballast (from NAR AI) at the top of one of my UHW bots. When I went to test him out, it seemed like he was being dragged across the floor, but slowly. He was bouncing off the walls and everything, and then suddenly, he just rocketed into one of the walls (knocking over EVERY SINGLE THING in the test arena), where he vanished into empty black space.

I was fighting Clockwork Hydra with some random trinity SnS when CH started spinning around on its side, then flew into the air, then off the screen for a sec, then it landed back down. Creepy.

I was fighting Nightmare from DSL and ripped off one of the legs which hold the wheels, and the whole robot stopped. The peice fell on the floor, but the robot was still standing up. Then I started getting hit by invisible forces. I turned on mesh viewer, and somehow, NIGHTMARE HAD GONE INVISIBLE. I still won, but it was weird and creepy as heck.

Check the Stock Ubertourney thread, in one of my latest fights gears your lever's motor got stuck INSIDE the bot and it flew around, similar to that fight from RRR1.

I was fighting one of my bots (i think it was stock) and then just when I was about to win, my bot stopped, dug into the floor a bit, and had the parts that were in the floor fly OOTA.
Aparently it wasn't taking damage after that, but I couldn't move the bot so it got counted out  :frown:
