The iron's there for counterbalance or at least an attempt at it. Beforehand the arm wouldn't work at all.

it's original but i don't see the point of that sort of weapon on a fast rammer...

My main strategy is to box rush spinners, pin them to the wall and then grind them to death. Kinda hard to do that if you have the same drive as a 36HS.

And it can pin things with something else than a V-rack, and doesn't get knocked aside ?

i would degrade weapon weight and weapon motor for a angled rack so you pin things better.

That's probably not a bad idea. I'll see what I can do.

forgot something, by weapon weight i meant spinner weapon weight. do not remove weapon KG from your static rack.

Well I tried that, but it ended up looking messy as frick, then I had to take off the wedge so spinners wouldnt murder it which made the thing really front heavy and hard to drive.

2 wheel version with moar spikes coming soon

So yeah I rebuilt it from the ground up but it failed miserably against everything that isn't Diamond 4 so I scrapped the design entirely.

Next thing I'll post here will probably be my Tusslers entries.

TP

On the left we have Combat Carl, and on the right we have Lilapsophobia (fear of hurricanes). These will probably be my first two Tusslers entries.

Carl has DSA and 'Phobia has plastic. Both consistently beat things in INF AI.

That is one huge chassis on the SnSnS. Also rotating the motors 90 degrees will help it spin faster.

pretty sure you can just use 2 black extenders for each end of the SnS instead of the mess right now.

Been more than a year since I posted in here, holy crap
(Image removed from quote.)
My planned entry for Sauce's tourney. Beats about 75% of the heavies in ReStocked so I feel fairly confident. Only pet peeve is the weak weapon extender/motor (popup fodder, also vs like to nom on it but i can usually outweapon them and win by points) and I haven't tested it against any generic HS/SnS.

I'm gonna fine tune it a little more then send it off. Not planning to win, just wanted to do something different : )

Also it has DSA.

One question:  How does that not tip over when turning?  I know from experience that having a heavy weapon on a servo up high like that REALLY messes with your balance.

I was also going to suggest making a V-shaped front, maybe something similar to my bot Accident Waiting to Happen, but if you already tried that and it didn't work, then never mind.

Nice.
I see some space around the Nifty, you could shrink the chassis and mebey have enough weight for DSA.

If it's havoky you could always just drop the snapper and stack a BA into the nifty to put your motor on, I think that would give you enough weight for DSA too.
