Bumpity-bump. Some JPEG parsers can have holes which can be exploited by maliciously crafted images. This is true fro every file format out there. and has for exampel been used in a crap ton of so called tiff exploits, where a specially crafted image could execute code on systems that used the libtiff library (the tiff exploit was used twice on the PSP, it was also used on jailbreakme.com for the iPhone).
