Members will never be allowed to change their username any time they want ...... there is enough horseplay as it is.

If you really want your name changed PM me what you want and I will change it.

Be aware that your log in changes and you must have a valid email to get back in.

EDIT: .... just saw Trovs post, maybe he does not know about a button I know of.

*sigh* Honestly I don't think I have really contributed a fat deal to the forum, and plus I haven't been around for long; I had like a 2 year Hiatus... Nvm.

Well can you remove the J in my username as it makes little difference?

J makes all the difference.

Quote from: Trovaner's PM
I usually tell people that I can't change their username because it is confusing to the other members and it causes all previous references to DeineMutter7 to be invalid. This is especially true for members that have been around for a long time or have been influential in some way. Sadly, it looks like you fall under both categories.

I'm really sorry but I don't think I can do it for your username.
My policies regarding name changes are pretty much the same as ACAMS.

Usually they only allow it for new members who haven't had much input etc yet, but that was under the ACAMS reign.

If I remember correctly, they will allow you to change your username once. So you better decide on a username that you will not grow tired of eventually.

They also don't want an influx of name change requests all at once.

Me for example am disliking my name and I want it changed to TheRPK8 as I hate RPJK now.

There have been a few cases of people being allowed name changes - your best bet really is to ask Trov nicely :)

It would mess up other people's quotes and tourney splashes and references to you if you changed your name.

Just PM Trov, yeah.
Why couldn't you just ask Trov' or ACAMS?

Just thought if others were to want this change they could state their opinions. It isn't just the fact that I want to change mine I mean it should be accessible for anyone without having to ask.
And plus, If I were to ask I'd probably be rejected :/

Hey.

This may sound very stupid, but can we please be given a way to change our display names?

See I hate my name as I created this account and didn't really think of a decent name. I'm sure there are others that are in the same position as me, and it would probably be greatly appreciated (especially by me).  It's just really annoying having to log into this account and seeing my stupid name and regretting ever typing those letters. I don't want to make a whole new account just to change my name and I'm sure others don't want to either.

Thanks

- Elementos
