Unable to download RA2

New to Robot Arena 2 and this forum, I can't download this game from the website, it just comes up with the "about:blank" screen. Does this game work with windows 8??

What internet browser are you using? Clicking the download button found here should automatically start the download for you...

RA2 works just fine with Windows 8. It has been a little temperamental since Windows 7 but it is still playable.

I'm using google chrome, would that be a problem downloading the game?

Absolutely not, I'm pretty sure the majority of us here use Chrome.

It's defintely odd, I have Windows 8 and I can download it fine with no troubles, do you have firewall on? That could be the alternative problem

Been away for a couple of weeks, every time I try to download the game it downloads as an internet explorer file. Is it supposed to do that and can i convert it somehow

Does your computer suggest opening it with Internet Explorer then?
Well, either way, IE can't open it, you need to install WinRAR to open the file if you don't have it.
