The Playground

As you all know, there was a new rule which bans "excessive" spamming in the playground. The way I see it, the playground is (more) useless now since it basically is the same thing as chatterbox now.

I feel that we should either get rid of this rule, or just delete the playground completely and mess around in chatterbox instead. Or even revise chatterbox rules to further separate it from playground.

Thoughts?

Take the RFSHQ route and give both subforums their own skin and make one of them the hateful, racist, NSFW spam forum and the other the meme-riddled unfunny chillax zone. It totally worked for us.

Playground is for nonsense posting, while Chatterbox is for unmoderated discussion. Just because we can't pointlessly spam Playground anymore doesn't make it useless.

The aim of Playground was never for excessive spam and the section has done well in the past without it. There's more to life than excessive spam.

They all just seemed to die off.

They got buried somewhere around page 5 or 6 because of a load of random things, then people forgot about them for a while (rinserepeat), and then Playground got carpet bombed, same happened the second time too, the third time round, nobody bothered to remake them.
