It was a group membership you could be part of if you clicked modify profile and it was basically the place you could spam, Trov removed it

Natster explained how you could access it but it was removed, and honestly, I am thankful because it was a place with a massive troll fest of spam, clogging my unread topics list.

I would assume extreme measures must be taken to fight for what's right. Did Hitler give up when the other countries waged war on his empire? I don't think so!

Fair point, however, you would at least be curious about certain threads and what it is, but to have something on a forum that's supposed to be about a game we still play even after 11 years since the release date is useless.

I know we all have certain tastes in certain things, but arguing is going nowhere, so let's not make a big fuss about this anymore.

Yes, the place that attracted all manner of disinterested forum members only here for games and pony discussions, and whose member base practically forced out a bunch of the older members with their stupidity.

The forum has gotten a lot quieter without playground. I think this is going to have a huge negative effect on the forum lifespan in the long-term.

However at the same time it has made trolls less interested in the forum causing them to leave. I think deleting playground was a bad idea on the basis that it has decreased forum activity by a bit. Also it was not like you had to be part of playground, you don't have to be part of the group.

You give people freedom to speak then they're happy but you start tightening the freedom of speech that will only cause people to leave.
