Title: MP3 Player
Post by: ACAMS on October 25, 2010, 04:31:38 PM: There is an MP3 player added to the bottom of the forum, and I will use the code box to make an uploader for you guys that want to add your own MP3's.

They will have to be added to a playlist, so I will have to do that manually (not smart enought to make it automatic)

ANYWAY, as soon as I get so music loaded it should work.

Will work on the uploader while the music uploads to the server.

Fair enough, everyone has their own taste in music and their entitled to their oppinion and ther's nothing I can do to stop people having their own opinions apart from kill them but i'm not allowed to do that anymore so I guess that inevitably their will be a mix of music on the mp3 player but still some of it i may like and might somehow discover a good band i haven't listened to yet so i shouldn't complain at GRW for having his own oppinions.

^I've grown as a person for typing that :mrgreen:^

wily_stage is most likely something from the Mega Man series. Tetris' main theme is Korobeiniki, which was remastered by Hirokazu Tanaka for the official NES game in '89. Dizzy is likely from the game series Dizzy, though I couldn't pinpoint the song itself to a series. All Your Base (the song) can be traced to Bad_CRC, who created the song in 2001 on Newgrounds. However, it may be one of the remixes out there. Greatest Warrior... I'm not sure on at all. Could be from the TV series or the video game of the same name, or it could even be a song from a fighting game.

Download Audacity. Change them into .mp3s and then upload them. :)

The uploader is now on the front page under Gadgets, the player is there too if it makes it easier.

Due to the fact that almost all my music is saved in the highest mp3 quality, and the length of most of their songs, I can't really upload any dream theater :frown:

can this be fixed? dunno why it did that. maybe because of the file name having the Label shown at the end. that is how i got them files when i downloaded them from TrackitDown (have to buy the song to be able to download it).

Interesting fact, I have a 1 hour and a half remix (it's metallica and I made it myself).
I wonder if ACAMS would like to raise the size limit a bit more, just for that :evilsmile:

Well i've added very skillfull music :mrgreen:
Although i'll probably stop putting on new stuff now for a little bit, people have different tastes, so it's more a case of getting a good balance of music on there.

EVERYONE HAS IT'S OWN TASTE IN MUSIC! live with it and stop talking like n00bs. there is good and bad music in EVERY genre. in every genre one requires skill to make a track sound good.
and NFX, if you can't here the difference between songs from that genre, your ears are broken, because there is a very clear difference in each song.

i say let GroudonRobotWars upload that mix. i'd like to hear it. overall, i like anything, but my personal preference in music goes to the electronic genre's.
oh, and that song 'Cracks' is some real nice Dubstep, so your BAWWWW was already to late.

Meh, I don't want to get into a music discussion with a dance fan.
No offense, their may very well be some good dance music, but as you might be able to tell, I lose my cool when talking about music, besides, i'm uploading more stuff to balance everything out ;P

Too true, the best bands are those who care about the music, mainstream stuff is filled to the brim with "artists" who know NOTHING about proper music, both making it and listening to it.
Still, you lot are all lucky i've lost about 3/4 of my music library, otherwise i'd have put up a LOT more.
