I made it.

IN DETAIL:

i made a semi transparent black and white energy wave (won't go into that). next, i keyframed the position of the energy wave so it moved from right to left and back again. and then added a ramp behind it, switched to radial ramp, set the colors to teal and red, (so basically a red dot in the middle that fades to a teal surrounding. i put that behind the semi transparent energy wave so thats where the color comes from. next, i added text in front of the energy wave and keyframed the opacity so it fades in as the wave passes over it. i added a glow to the text as well as a fast blur so that the colors mesh with it better. Last, i added a temperal displacement effect to the text, and put the evolution at time*500 as well as keyframed the amount from 1 to 50. thats where the wave effect comes from. so after getting everything timed just the right way this program also lets you render it directly into an animated .gif. to fix the size i found an online .gif cropper.

And would that be photoshop you used for the sig or a different program? Its an absolute work of art. Which I guess was the intention.

Anyway after this question's answered we better get back on topic.
Good evening.

BACK ON TOPIC.

Kill as a mod is a good idea, as well as MikeNCR.

I think Kill would be an excellent moderator because he is on so much, is willing to help, is well liked by everyone (I think), has prior experience, and has been around for a long time.

I think that

Flying_Chao

SSG

Kill343gs

or

Urjak

would make good mods.

I officially reccomend Kill, SSG, and Flying_Chao.

Inf, Naryar, and pys could not, and i repeat not be mods, because they would ban people. If your a mod, you can't hold grudges.

I would like to be a mod, but I am not sure I have been here long enough.

Whoever gets the job needs to be somebody who doesn't get power hungry.  If you become power hungry, revolts will occur (like in the good ol' days back at the official forums).  Of course, if it wasn't for the incompetent forum staff at the official boards and at Assuplink, B4B wouldn't have thrived.

Definetly someone who is passive, not much flaming from them, well liked by the community, and experienced.

I think that Kill343gs is the ideal choice IMO.

Those who are in power must be willing to not be liked.  When times are tough, people will hate you and rebel against you.  You have to be able to not take it personally and do your job anyway.

Of course, it's been years since I've been a moderator, so this is more of advice from an administrator's perspective.
