GTM Mobile?

This thought has been playing on my mind for some time. The current mobile site is pretty bad in my opinion and browsing on a mobile is sometimes quote tricky, although this may just be me.
Is there any way we could make the site friendlier to mobile? I know a lot of forums use that Tapatalk thing  but I don't know much about it.

I agree that GTM is hard to navigate on mobile devices but I don't think Tapatalk is the answer. I did some research into them around this time last year but decided not to use them for a number of reasons. One of the biggest reasons for me not liking them at the time was that they required you to have the paid app in order to post new content. This changed towards the end of last year but Tapatalk Inc didn't show very much loyalty to the customers that had paid for the now free app (IIRC, the new paid app just removes their watermark). The software itself also requires code that bypasses many of SMF's security features. Not to mention, many of GTM's features wouldn't be accessible from within the Tapatalk app.

I could probably make the site more mobile-friendly by creating a new stylesheet and/or modifying the existing ones but I'd prefer to wait on that until I have more time. IRL, I am a mobile app developer so another option would be for me to write an iOS/Android app for GTM but that would probably take even more time...

Yeah, I noticed that stuff about Tapatalk when I looked into it some time ago.
I'm not bothered if nothing changes, but I moved Blood Brothers to signups and edited the relevant posts in Management on my mobile earlier which took a hugely long time really, just thought I'd mention it to see what people think.
Also, I had no idea you were an app dev, that's pretty cool.

even on a smartphone its difficult cause you need small thumbs, just a little like button to scroll on different pages of threads would change my situation ten-fold

it doesnt suck to me, but im used to browsing websites like this on my mobile. Im not disagreeing because i dislike craaig, while its true that a hate craaig im not disagreeing because i hate craaig

Dude, please, I don't mind if you dislike me, everyone's entitled to their opinions (although I don't know your reasons) but if you can keep personal stuff like this out of main forum that'd be cool.

The only time i feel the need to check GTM on my mobile is when I post a new bot and want to read the replies. This doesn't happen very often.

i use my gs5 more than i do my laptop, which is only used for writing papers because its so damn old all it can do properly is ms word and i dont want to get a new one because im poor and i dont need to go into student loan debt

hell if my TI inspire could go online i'd use that too

I use GTM on mobile much more then I do on a desktop.. infact im doing it right now.

I usually prefer not to have mobile sites.. I usually switch on "view in desktop mode" for most

I tend to use desktop and zoom in for buttons. Its not like zooming in is a pain
