Point being, can't you guys just wait to use your computer? Posted by: helloface« on: April 14, 2014, 05:17:11 PM »It's not bad with smartphones; however if you choose to implement it, please wok on it AFTER the bot exchange.

Im not disagreeing because i dislike craaig, while its true that a hate craaig im not disagreeing because i hate craaigits decent on my iphone, could be a lot worse. i dont see the need for a mobile website. also what scrap daddy said Posted by: Scrap Daddy« on: April 14, 2014, 03:57:08 PM »i think its fine honestly, you just gotta zoom in to click something. ive gotten used to it.

But anyone without a smartphone will tell you that the mobile version sucks. Plus you're just disagreeing because you dislike Craaig. I'm not bothered if nothing changes, but I moved Blood Brothers to signups and edited the relevant posts in Management on my mobile earlier which took a hugely long time really, just thought I'd mention it to see what people think. Also, I had no idea you were an app dev, that's pretty cool. I did some research into them around this time last year but decided not to use them for a number of reasons. One of the biggest reasons for me not liking them at the time was that they required you to have the paid app in order to post new content. This changed towards the end of last year but Tapatalk Inc didn't show very much loyalty to the customers that had paid for the now free app (IIRC, the new paid app just removes their watermark). The software itself also requires code that bypasses many of SMF's security features. Not to mention, many of GTM's features wouldn't be accessible from within the Tapatalk app.
I could probably make the site more mobile-friendly by creating a new stylesheet and/or modifying the existing ones but I'd prefer to wait on that until I have more time. IRL, I am a mobile app developer so another option would be for me to write an iOS/Android app for GTM but that would probably take even more time... |
