Title: GTM is being real glitchy

I've noticed three problems in the past few days:
1. The site has been going down due for the past couple days around 10pm pacific time, and others have reported this too.
2. Even when I view a new post it doesn't go away from the "show unread posts"/"show new replies" pages. Mark all messages as read does nothing.
3. A few times when I've posted a "database error" pops up and doesn't let me post. Even when I'm posting this thread it's happening.

Anyone else having the problems?

EDIT 1: 4. Post count doesn't change
EDIT 2: 5. Certain uploaders not working
EDIT 3: 6. Proxy is needed to get on website

The post count doesn't seem to be changing either. I think I've had 699 posts for the last 6 times I've posted.

We've been hacked probably. If not then maybe whatever software is running the forum needs updated. Just guessing.

I'm currently using a US proxy to access the site, without it I can't access the site at all.

Working now without proxy.
All problems fixed for me, and I'm resetting the poll so we can see if it's completely resolved.

Also only noticed glitch #2, which has been resolved. I wonder why so many brits were affected?

As I said in the chatbox, things aren't fixed yet but I'm making progress and I promise to get things working ASAP.

Just to make things clear, I do not believe GTM was hacked. I believe the issue lies in something Dreamhost did and I'm currently working with them to resolve these issues.

Just an update, Dreamhost thinks they found the issue on their end and that it is fixed now.

When you say the site went down do you mean the server stopped responding or that you kept seeing error pages?

As I mentioned in the Chatbox, Dreamhost would like some screenshots of some of the errors that we're seeing. They also asked that you clear your cache before doing it (like now).

Please try to keep it to the errors that mention the database. I don't think there is anything in the errors that you guys are seeing but since they asked...

Perfect, thanks guys. I went ahead and sent off the screenshots to Dreamhost so fingers crossed.

If you guys see any more errors that don't look like these, please post them. Errors are very helpful in the debugging process.

I keep getting database errors about 75% of the time when I post something. The post still goes through but it's annoying as hell.

Got another database error just about now. Exactly like last time, it didn't stopped me to post.

Though it was on editing a very large post AKA my DSL tutorial, dunno if this changes matters.

Huh... is anyone else experiencing these issues again? GTM got moved to a different server after Dreamhost determined that the old server was the culprit.

I was banned all day for some reason but could log on through a proxy. Looks like everything is working now. kinda weird though.

I'm not experiencing any problems. I don't remember the last time I experienced a database error, but I think it happened within the last three or four months and I haven't had a single one since.

Got a 503 yesterday while trying to edit Kurt's post in playground where he called a guinea pig a hamster, but that was probably my wifi being glitchy.
