Title: Gametechmods keeps taking ages to load?
Post by: Gazea2 on December 11, 2010, 08:21:37 AM: GTM keeps taking ages to load (about 3-4 minutes). Sometimes, the whole website will go down and then randomly come back up again. It doesn't happen with any other website that I've been on.

Is this happening to anyone else?

It could just be because there's a lot of activity going on at that point.

ATM though it's working fine for me.

then I found out Vodafone AU crapped itself and caused a city wide no reception :P

no problems for me other then that (maybe I ninja-ed all the server speed :O)

It's partially due to the dial-up connection I have at my home, but when we were on the other forum host it worked very well. That's a lot of the reason I hadn't been on much since last year.

School has a number things for sites to go through before getting to the computer, are you guys using proxys? that sort of thing? That stuff will slow down how fast it loads.
