IMO it dont matter what it looks like, this is easier on the eyes then the old forums. as for the other ideas i like them and look forward to seeing the important changes that ACAMS is doing. you just have to keep in mind that the RA2 site is gone and its time to try a few new things. change is not always as bad as it seems at first.

I also agree with the more traditional left side placement of poster information. Hey, call me old fashioned, but it's not too often you see a forum with the info on the top of the post. It just doesn't feel very forum-like.

Perhaps keeping the dark background, but having the post boxes in a lighter grey (not extremely light though) would help. Also, I think that the poster information (name, avatar, etc.) should go on the left side of the post (like the original forums), and the post boxes should be joined, not a seperate box for each post. Also, for me, GTM just seems to have way too many seperate categories to post under, making site navigation confusing. Mabye either eliminate some of these that are not used often, or make certain sections more generalized.
