Title: Downloading files.
Post by: Lupus on January 04, 2012, 10:02:44 AM: Everytime I download a file off of gametechmods it tries to download it as something called "index.php" be it a .rar or a .png I always get the same file which I cannot open with anything except notepad.Any ideas why?

Post by: NFX on January 04, 2012, 03:14:33 PM: I use 7Zip as well. Very easy, once you figure out what all the buttons do.

If you try right-clicking, then selecting Properties to check what the link address is, see if it comes up as a .rar, .zip, .php, .jgp, or whatever. Also, Save Target As also helps, because I think you can select the file type when you're saving it.

I have 7z too, and my winrar does not have an annoying register thing .... it works just fine!
