Can someone clean up the Bot Exchange?
« on: June 10, 2010, 07:58:33 PM »
It's gotten really messy. Some people are posting DSL bots in Stock and uploading bots with custom components. Can one of the admins could delete or move the offending bots?

Stock LW- sdsdsdsdsdsdropgoal_drop goal.bot (move to DSL MW)
Stock MW- Kid Cyclone Beta_Kid Cyclone Beta.bot (move to DSL MW)
Stock HW- 12yearoldpwner_Big Ziggo.bot (move to DSL HW)
Stock HW- 12yearoldpwner_Bot1.bot (move to DSL HW)
Stock HW- JoshuaDavis_Flippy.bot (delete because there is the same bot in DSL HW)

All of LiftyShifty43's bots (remove, use DarkRat parts.)

If there are any I missed, let me know.

Also one of Groudon's DSL HW's should be deleted, it uses some custom parts

I checked the bot files, GRW's bot used Alphasim's custom motors.

I, the fool that I am, uploaded a DSL Bot (Clowning Around Dos) to the Stock HW. *facepalm*
As well as that, the older one of the two in DSL HW needs to be deleted as it didn't update.

Thanks.

There should be a .bot file filter (Hey Serge) that only allows components from the original or DSL games in the appropriate section and only allows bots of a certain weight class to be put into that weight class.

Anyone up for it? (Trov)
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

Well, the weight shouldn't be tough to detect, but other stuff may take a little work.

I think this thread should be pinned and renamed as Bot Exchange cleanup request thread.
So it will be easier for acams to find what is not correct.
Just post full name of target, where it is and whre it should be.
