I did not spam the main forum in anyway or break any playground rules. (The rule about the pictures is referring to 50 Hitler post and 50 Tito post threads that got purged the last time the Playground got deleted.
If Trov wants, I will go and delete all the posts myself.

yup basically what playzooki said. playground is essentially a free-for-all section where the only rules are no shock images and no 50 hitler posts. if you dont like it you can easily just leave playground so you dont have to deal with it, no point complaining about it.

Maybe overloaded by a hundred or more 500kb images? That's not a playground matter, that's slowing down the entire forum.

He broke no rules. This is literally the entire purpose of playground. A lot of people here have done stupid stuff in playground. I've done stupid stuff in playground. ACAMS used to post his rants in playground.

THIS IS THE POINT OF PLAYGROUND.

As long as the images are hosted on another image service such as imageshack, they put little strain on the GTM servers. The issues with site speed are entirely different, as addressed in another thread here in the forum news section. The only thing that a thread like that will make slow is that thread itself.

This thread is absolutely ridiculous. You have absolutely no business calling out the higher ups of this community. I understand there were a few questions and concerns raised initially when 09 was made a vet, but I was quick to defend the decision when the discussion was brought up in GCT. Everything I said there still stands.

A complaint would be in writing to Trov. A thread like this in this location is designed so that the WHOLE forum can see it.


Besides if there is a load of posts containing the same linked image in 1 thread... you only have to load that image once. Right?
