Title: Avatar Issues
Post by: RedAce on September 17, 2014, 03:02:34 PM
Somehow my avatar is missing and I can't put it back because the "Choose avatar from computer" option is missing.

I also had this problem and Trov sorted it out for me. Maybe he only sorted it out for me but the problem shouldn't occur.

To be fair, I don't have the option you're talking about but I uploaded my avatar online and it's alright now.

Thank you. That was gonna be my other option if the avatar from computer didn't work.

What exactly, according to the website defines avatar? Can it be,like, any image, or a certian shape, or what?

You can have whatever you want as a profile image as long as it doesn't go against any pertinent rules listed under the rules tab (basically the site rules, profile rules, and main forum rules). As far as size goes, it should be smaller than 150x150 pixels (the forum software is *suppose* to prevent everything else). You may use image rotators if you want but most people find them irritating unless there is an obvious theme. We don't have any restrictions or policies regarding shapes or transparency.

Does that answer your question?
