ive been browsing for expansions and bots in the downloads section but im hesitant to make a ton of downloads considering i can't tell what any of these things are at all before i download them. especially bots and extra parts. i'd really like to be able to see what i'm getting before i commit to it. anyone know if this can be done? it'd be awesome.
thanks yall

I'm suggesting the same for Bot Exhange.

To my understanding for quite some time Trov has been working on an exchange that loads the bots into it as a preview. I'm pretty sure you'd have known that, Jonzu.

Sorry, I have forgotten that. Thanks for letting me know.

I do remember that function way back then. I can't remember if that was a different version of the forums or not, but I did like that feature. Props to Trov for working on that function and the exchange work in general.
Oh and welcome back toAst.

thanks!
i think it was aceuplink that had a picture-along-with-the-bot-page type download setup going on. ra-reborn had preview pictures for most downloads although i don't think they did bots outside of large packs worth.

As far as adding previews to the downloads, its a nice idea but I don't have the time to go through and take pictures of all of them. If you guys want to take pictures, I can add them but if we're going to go that route than we should try to standardize the appearance/size of them.
The bot exchange will have preview images when I finally decide to finish it. Goose had preview images working on his version of the bot exchange before everything got deleted when ACAMS lost his computer. After waiting a couple years for Goose to make a replacement, ACAMS made a temporary bot exchange based on the code that Goose used for the file uploader. For the most part, this is what you are seeing today (with a few of minor enhancements of my own).
