'Ignore Topic' Button?

Y'know, so that if you get a topic that you really don't want to hear about, you don't. Just a button that when you press, you don't get notes about it's updates on the main page and you don't see it when you check the section it's in.

I reeeeally like this idea, been thinking about it for ages, specifically to kill off the Horse thread from my 'Recent Posts' box.

This idea has been tried, then ACAMS removed it because dumb people voted it out of order. Silly democratic votes. We aren't a democratic system, why do we have to vote on these ? Obviously a council of the most sound and wise people should be in place for important decision, not the common people.
