Meet Johnny 2x4.

Johnny 2x4 is a FW robot and shall be competing in the UK FW Champs on the 14th April 2012. He cost $20,000 and took 3 years to build. It's chief weapons are fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, and a almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.
It will be in these matches:

Johnny 2x4 v Reavenger v Mini Mighty Mouse
Ripoff v Johnny 2x4 v LS4
Wedgie v Johnny 2x4 v TS2

Which, i'm sure you'll agree, will be very interesting matches regardless of the outcome.

Ok have to admit, I didn't think that people would take the $20,000 thing seriously. I like how no one questioned the 3 years part though.

don't worry if you add up the cost of running it for 3 years using sabertooth escs, you come pretty close to 20 grand

You might want to re-epoxy FET's to the board and the board to the heatsink to keep it from going FET'o ejecto or heatsink ejecto...

Car tire armor... I'm serious...

You can get it for free. Steal your dad's car's spare, talk to a tire center i'm sure they would be willing to give you a used tire for cheap or free.

Car tire is something i've considered, but I think it's a bit late to get it on for the UK Champs.
If Johnny 2x4 survives, i'll try and put it on for the Aylesbury event.
