Looks like a pretty good, if not generic, wedge. The 2nd paint job you have there is pretty cool.

I would consider moving that battery. It's in a bad spot for a blade to cut through your thin armor. Whether it's 6061 or 7075 aluminum, or even steel, I'd recommend moving the battery to the middle.

Also, make sure you put some hot glue or shoe goo to help hold the scorpion connections in. If you're comfortable with a soldering iron, I'd recommend soldering the wires to the scorpion.

Hey I used a hinge for my robot's top cover too!
But it sadly died cause my brother thought it was funny to "dip" it in water.

Does anyone have any idea what motor this is? My Dad gave me 2 for my birthday a few years back, and I want to know if they would be good drive motors on a ~30 lb bot. They both seem fairly powerful when hooked up to an 18v drill battery.

Both have a tag on the back that says:

Yes, I've look this up with no luck.

Please help.

Depends, a 12 pounder (Hobby Weight) would be a better choice. Any gearing?
You could use this:

The Small Johnson motor can produce 1/3 horsepower at twelve volts, plenty of power for a hobby weight. Best part: 5.29 a motor. I see it as the new EV warrior.

I just want to know what the motors I currently have are. I don't really want to buy new ones.
