I've got something... right now its a pile of parts but I'm keeping it under wraps until after the event.

A primitive example of a blueprint. It was found inscribed on the wall of a cave in the region of southern Egypt.  :gawe:

All very precise, though. Hopefully there's not too much in the way of errors.

are they plans for wheels ?
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Looking quite good, it's been built almost in the style of your RA2 bots. Hopefully it should do reasonably well, I wonder if wheelguards of some description would have been useful.

Sweet. Is there a Dick Dastardly to go with it or is it just Muttley?

Yes there was. Dick Dastardly was a horizontal spinner built by a guy who used to be on here (zipdragon64)

So... now about how the event went.... Dick Dastardly/Muttley fought as a 6lb multibot and went 0-3 at BotBlast. It was fun though all its fights were very entertaining.

it's been built almost in the style of your RA2 bots.
I fully support the use of a large bash bar... RA2 or IRL

wonder if wheelguards of some description would have been useful.
yeah... about that... it got a wheelectamy pretty much every fight. Wheel guards will be added before it fights next.

Odd, the only damage I see are the wheels on the back.
Also, I love the use of extra lite flites(Lets see who else knows what I'm talking about)

It's got a couple of nice gashes on the bottom and a few small dents in the bash bar.

Also, I love the use of extra lite flites(Lets see who else knows what I'm talking about)

the rubber vibration isolating mounts that most people use felt too stiff for a 3lb and I had a couple of 1.25" lite flites in my toolbox and then that happened.

I was talking to MikeNCR on FB and then this idea happened. This is just a quick sketchup sketch to get the idea out.

I'm thinking 30lb pneumatic front hinged launcher.

HF drill drive 3" wheels, low pressure, maybe 2.5" bore ram cause I have one lying around.

I would go with a shallower front wedge, but I like the design.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Why the motor in the disc? Why not use a belt?
