Post by: Stagfish on June 13, 2010, 01:05:04 PM
I'm making another antweight, this time I hope it will be in the weight limit since my last one weighs 240g :FFFUUU

Would this be a good controller?

For you no. You are in England right? If you are the ground frequency of 75mhz used in the US would be illegal. In England the frquency is 40mhz(?) I recomend a 2.4ghz spread spectrum remote and reciever from spektrum. Edit: http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/0-SPM5500.html (http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/0-SPM5500.html)

The spektrums are by far the best transmitters.

This link should work http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/0-SPM5500.html (http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/0-SPM5500.html)

I recomend a Specktrum brand remote but if you don't want to pay for it this might work. It doesn't have mixing or any functions and I have one of these for a RC Airplane and it works fine. http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/0-GWS24TR.html (http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/0-GWS24TR.html)

Does it have a switch for a lifter?

I use the Specktrum DX5. The Rudder control can be used to activate a lifter. The other one I suggested also has a rudder control as well so yes both would work.

I would use a Futaba 6EX 2.4GHz Combo, or a Spectrum DX, as they're very reliable.
