Well, the event ticket's no good for me, but I'll certainly support Getting the show on the air.  Would it be bad to try and sell the ticket?

im not sure. it says you can choose to donate it to an at risk child

  Oh, didn't realize that.  That's cool, I'll definitely do that.  As long as it's going to someone who can use it, I'm happy.  Good luck to them, hope my contribution can help.

I would be very happy to see this go through. I don't know if it will though, the other one kinda fizzled out so that makes me nervous. It would be really cool to have this take off however.

Say they get 29,045 of their 40,000. Do they get to keep the 29K? Or does kickstarter screw them over

They don't get to keep it if they miss their goal. But I wouldn't call it getting "screwed over;" it's only fair that they don't get to keep the money if they won't be able to deliver on their promise.

Truthfully... I'd only get the DVD if I know a Touro robot is entering, AND winning any of the events.
