Look at this star-studded roster and tell me you aren't hyped. Of course Sewer Snake, Son of Ziggy and Ragin Scotsman aren't there yet, and Brad's considering bringing VD6 back out of retirement as well.

THE GODDAMN HYPE THOUGH

AND IM GOING TO BE GETTING THIS ON DVD

Info on the placeholder guys:
TBD is a new bot by the guy who's made Black and Blue, Black Widow! and Crazy Susan to name a few
SpitFire is Jerome Miles' new heavy. From what i've heard it's going to be a heavyweight Hot Stuff.
Celtic Warrior is MNSTR Robotics' third heavy and i'm pretty sure there's a pic of it on their site. It's a pneumatic flipper.
Foxic is Team Tanto's latest bot.
Usagi is made by the same team that currently owns Mouser (who is also signed up btw) and it's a 4wd drum.
Necron I have no clue what it is, but the team's been a no show before so no promises.
First Lefts is a new robot by the guy that made Brutality.
Lay Z Bot is the typical Team Tiki thing.
Megalodon is made by someone who usually does sumo.
Whiplash is from Team Fast Electric Robots.
Black Sheep is a second Ram Robotics entry and appears to be a vertical spinner.
Beowulf is a very ambitious entry by someone who joined the sport last year. It's going to be a modded battlekit.

Most UK heavies won't compete because
1) money
2) UK HW's aren't built to take the hits from spinners. Eruption would probably just crack.

Puck was entered by the same team with Kick Me and Sabretooth.
The Ressurection is entered by a team I've never heard of.

I think Prometheus competed in 13 unless it's a different robot. Not too sure.

Lets hope 2. Ziggy AND Preda Raptor both missed in. Why couldnt they have done 32? It wouldve been much easier, plus you wouldnt worry about BYE's

All of MNSTR's bots took their ball and went home. Shame, I wanted to see Celtic Warrior and Spartan :l

Good news is more room for hopefully Preda Raptor, and Son of Ziggy. Also, the guys who made UnMakerBot entered with a HW. I can only assume has a drum like his little brothers.

Also, HW Max dropped to 29. Is that normal?

It's a black 4wd wedgebot of some sort. no clue what its weapon is or if it has one.

you can see it in the top right of this pic. The robot with "JCOS" on it

-Grande Tambor lost both of its fights
-Mondo Bizarro is 2-1
-Ricola and its double, Polymer, are both undefeated

Foxic had motor issues, I bought cheap ampflow rip offs from china trying to save money and they just didnt have the torque or the grip to move the robot like it did on my workshop floor, its geared to about 14mph so its not really that slow.
we actually snapped the shafts of the motors in both fights hense why it didnt do anything really. I've just taken Tanto's A28-400 out ready to go into Foxic when it come back.
