What do most robot fighting competitions feel about petrol/nitro engines? (rule wise) Im not building one...Im just wonderin'

Most don't allow them for because of the possibility of fire, exhaust fumes in arena, fuel spill and messy clean up.
Also I'd never use a nitro engine in a fighting robot for 3 reasons.
If the motor dies it has to be restarted
You can stall it if inverted for too long
They typically weigh more than an electric motor.

Most Nitro engines are incredibly noisy, and the actual power outlet can cause troubles. On an R/C scale, I have known the nitro burner to simply burn out in mid-use. This may alsobe a problem.
