Title: Petrol/Nitro engines?

Also I'd never use a nitro engine in a fighting robot for 3 reasons.

If the motor dies it has to be restarted

You can stall it if inverted for too long

They typically weigh more than an electric motor.

Post by: Incredirobotwars on January 03, 2011, 03:06:41 PM: Most Nitro engines are incredibly noisy, and the actual power outlet can cause troubles. On an R/C scale, I have known the nitro burner to simply burn out in mid-use. This may alsobe a problem.
