here is an ant weight i built using stuff that i already had in the house

And why use pencils? Screws would be better.

If its an RC car with normal car steering then a whip is not going to work right...

Love how you use your imagination but here is some advice to consider.
1. Get an rc kit. I have a futuba remote kit that came with 8 servos and I ever regretted buying it.
2. How old are you cause if your dad doesn't let you use screws, bolts etc, then you are never going to get a really successful bot.

check out my Underworld industries thread, I built US AW robots using a few house hold things (however I carved out metal teeth and blades) and R/C cars (however I did modify them to change them to suit my needs.
