Little bit of a gold mine I dug up on youtube..


Vinny's channel, some interesting insights and info in comments he has made about the place such as

What you have described pretty much sums it us. We were pushed around a fair bit but damaged the frame and ripped the motor clean off the weapon. Spoke with Noel Sharkey afterwards about how we thought we'd caused significant damage. His reply was 'well it was evened up as they took your wheel off'. When we pointed out we had all our wheels intact he admitted they'd got it wrong. Too late to reverse the decision by then."

Believe it or not, Vinnie Blood still uses this account for his daily Youtube workings. He doesn't respond much, as he's busy with other things, such as photography. Seems like Vinnie's simply moved on...

Warhead vid was neat. It was one of my favourite robots and most of it's fights were ridiculous.
Anybody know how much that disc weighed?

I remember reading he believed it was 19kg, but wasn't 100% sure.
