Also IIRC, the people in the crowd were waiting a while for the matches to start. You can imagine how disappointed they were when they saw a match like this.

Probably due to time constraints, also adding more bots would've probably meant going over more fights like in the last episode since ABC only allowed them 6 episodes.

AH-HA. I FINALLY REMEMBERED MY USERNAME ON THIS ONE. Anyways.

It's really strange that Derek Young pulled a stunt like this. I guess he had a bad run with spinners (Hazard and Knee-Breaker) and overestimated Ghost Raptor's weapon.

Overhaul is fighting Lockjaw again judging from the previews. And it seems to be dominating. :/ Though Lockjaw doesn't seem to be as great as Diesector and Karcas and all of that space went to the flamethrower rather than the lifting power of the jaws and it is a new bot overall after all. So, eh. When it got under Overhaul, it tried to lift it but end up lifting itself. Clearly it's not the second coming of Diesector.

So I'm guessing these matchups went too fast than they expected? Considering how they glossed over the other fights just like that.

The wild card choices are iffy, Overhaul and Witch Doctor I can understand. But Chomp? CHOMP? I guess they want an even number of veterans and newcomers in that. But blegh. I don't expect that thing to stay for long.

Okay, I'm back. I just wanted to point out that Hardcore Robotics' interview was so hype! The way Ray said "I am going to be the Battlebots Champions" was so epic, man.

My opinions on the wildcards are undeserving, especially Chomp and Warhead (No matter how much I love Warhead). Also, why is Lockjaw fighting Overhaul again? Shouldn't they at LEAST not allow a robot to fight again, unless in like Semis or Finals? Wow.

Overall, the show seems good (the battles and interviews). I want Tombstone to win so bad, but Stinger is a likely contender.

Stinger vs. Warhead

Reason: The commercial gave it away to me. Thanks guys.

Bronco vs. Plan X

Reason: Bronco just needs one good flip to seal the deal.

Warrior Clan vs. Ghost Raptor

Reason: A bit tough honestly, but I think the big warrior might tear up Ghost Raptor.

Icewave vs. Chomp

Reason: Tough, but if my prediction is correct, parts will be flying.

Bronco flipping Plan X was in a promo also. Flipping something large and spindly looking up into the spike strips. That one is pretty much an open and shut case.

pretty sure razer would die horribly against modern robots if it's even still working anymore
