I really like the design of this robot but the color uniformity makes it hard to distinguish the angles and contour lines. Apart from that, good work!

Absolutely gorgeous, reminds me somewhat of Thor from Robot Wars. I remember building something like this a long time ago but yours is much, much better.

I'm really not trying to cast any shade towards anyone or their work, but can someone please answer why they find the Stock aesthetic so appealing? I think it looks revolting and so very visually disgusting.

Quick post to keep y'all updated
Sonny sent me a batch of his last RW replicas

 

Problem, whenever I separate a component the bot won't work for some reason. I don't know how to fix this either
When the next release is ready, all robots will be found in the robot designs folder, and there are more arenas to play around with too.
All extra tools are in a separate folder too so it's neat.
That's it for now, I'm going back to find a way to fix robots[/size]

Out of nowhere all of the DSL3 bots have had their chassis changed. I've not been messing around with any files, nor have I downloaded the patch recently posted. I turned the game off, came back five minutes later and all of the DSL 3 bots with irregular chassis (Inshredable, ToeCutter, Herbinator and Colossus to name a few) have changed.

The chassis is not one which has been edited in any outside application. I changed my resolution from 1920x1080 to the 1600x___ one to see if I could use the function but it seems to have not made a difference. I made it using the mod, and it's within the framing of the chassis creation sheet.

An issue that I noticed with this mod was that the inbuilt system of importing/exporting custom texture maps onto bots doesn't work. Other than that the mod has been brilliant.

Yeah, it was more of a proof of concept than anything else. I've had RA2 for years now but I've only just learnt about the skin exporter so I was trying it out with something simple. I'll post a more accurate version in a bit.

Here's a replica for the Robot "Eco Warrior" which failed to qualify for Series 4 of Robot Wars which has been made in the Resetti AI Mod. Due to its simple shape and physiology it was incredibly easy to sort out in a short time.

Don't feel a need to rush something like this - take as much time as you feel you need to make it the best you can.

I'd rather wait a month for something good instead of getting it instantly in a much more inferior quality.
