well im drinking and building RA2 again. i blame the midget
I find this weirdly pleasing to look at. Could we get a better look at the skin?
Why of course, stranger! I can provide the source in DMs if you so desire

LMAO, yeah sure DM the source friend!
On a serious note would angling the Ztek slightly give it a bit more protection?
check your DMs!!! maybe? but iirc bear claws have normals so more angling = less likely they'll do (decent) damage, and it's bouncy enough as it is i don't wanna break it even more

not sure why you want to demod craaig just make me showcase and tournament mod because i'm cool and reliable
I'm not really confident here...
pretty sure i was on the shortlist back in the day haha
then I stopped using capital letters and started playing a better game at a top level
What game you are playing now? You getting any of that sweet digital sport money?
Melee and Project M. not winning money yet but I've gotten top 8s at tournaments so hopefully i'm closing in.
congratulations, you got a D+ in the special ed class like melee and PM in the UK are a joke, apart from like Prof Pro no one else can hold their own across the pond, there's a reason why all of the big tournaments are over there

that's probably gonna be the main stuff I explain, you can edit a surprising amount of stuff in the actual match screen, but from what I can tell it's impossible to edit each bot status bar individually
So is aftershock still happening, or is joeblo still angry that 123 LITERALLY stole everything out of an unreleased mod?
don't you just love having things taken out of context? Its fun to play around with GIBs but most of the functional aspects require the EXE. Many of my GIB mods (mostly test code) are centered around code that was left in the EXE when the developers started cutting features in order to meet their deadline. I've worked with leagues, chassis heat values, supershine armor, bot previews on different screens, etc. The bot garage is one of my favorite things to mod because the EXE doesn't limit you to a certain number of buttons and its the only place where GIBs and PYs meet.
I could never get things working in the test garage. Dunno why. How much of the other things did you manage to get working?

I wish I'd posted the match screen stuff earlier tbh, when this forum was more alive, would've been cool to see what people would've done with it. but from what I can tell it's impossible to edit each bot status bar individually
I hate how all the cool stuff that goes along with the .gib files is actually hardcoded it seems into the .exe. I figured out how to add more bots to AI teams but the preview pictures of them would never come up which sucked.
Are you sure there isn't another element in the .gib that controls the preview pictures? I might look into it, but yeah it sucks tbh. The .gib files seem to reference a lot of stuff in the .exe too, which makes it even more frustrating

what compiler are you using?
different compilers have different issues. if you're using serge's, and tell me what wheel you're using, I can help you out

I've got a load of .gib work and stuff that I've done and have no real use for. Would anyone be interested in me posting it and a tutorial of what I found?

Something else that could be interesting is banning of tribars. I may be taking it too far but it could limit the building of generic HSs and force people to use uncommon components and make more creative, unique, or rare bot types.
This. I like this. I think the idea as a whole is good. Personally, I feel that caster armour is pretty heavy anyway and I reckon it won't be used much. It might also give bots a chance against any HS spam that there is.

Please tell me that Ford Tire was placed using BFE.
BFE running rampant.
I think we can safely assume that it was The bot is.. different. In a good way :P

I'm currently using a US proxy to access the site, without it I can't access the site at all.

And that wedge component looks completely out of place imo, ruins the look of the bot..

Not gonna lie, flame skins on the chassis are nice 'n all but they mean nothing if the bot doesn't look good. The weapons on some of these bots look completely out of place and the supports look flimsy. I'm guilty of churning out lots of bots too, but it's best to make a few high quality bots rather than loads of half-finished ones.
