I tried copying a ra2.cfg from the zip file (my RA2 did have one) like WenXiang suggested, still no success unfortunately. Sorry for not replying for a while

No clue what happened here, was battling on DSL 2.2, and it crashed. I opened it up again and it showed the first start-up screen with my laptop's loading icon and closed itself. I tried restarting my laptop, same result.

So I installed RA2 on my laptop and it works pretty much fine. However, f-whatever keys don't change the camera angle, because they do other things like mute volume. Is there a way round this?

Hobgoblin is amazing  I think it could do very well in replica wars if it doesn't get drawn against too many flippers

OK, these are my first replicas in about 2-3 years and they're stock, and of quite easy robots, so don't expect miracles.  Angel Of Death. It has spike strips instead of saws because I couldn't get the stock saw to fit while pretruding as little as AOD's does. It also can barely move because the wheels barely touch the ground, but it was pretty slow in real life too, you could say that's a plus.  Araknia. My first proper attempt at skinning; the legs don't line up very well. It also has immobility syndrome, although not as much as Angel Of Death, and the weapon is horrible because it's powered by one of the tiny black motors.(I can't remember it's name)

Nope, stock is fine. Also, I forgot to mention, I don't extract RA2 with winrar, I have to use openit, cos I do this on a family computer without access to the administrator

U mean this Asbestosstar? I mean I typed this into command prompt and it said it wasn't recognised. Mr.AS, when I uncheck read only it doesn't actually stop being read only, and RA2 is not in my programs folder.

It is read only and my problem is the same as the one from Asbestossar's link(thx). I have no idea what command prompts are or how to use them tho.Edit: tried using command prompt to fix and failed. Probably because I couldn't find any instructions for windows 6, which is what my crappy computer uses.

I don't think it's read only... it says on the file if it is, right. This copy also crashes when I try to import a robot

So I reinstalled DSL2.2 to fix a crashing issue, and now it doesn't crash, instead, it doesn't save bots when I exit the builder. Plz help
