Yes, he is.

He isn't giving a good name to Germans either.

also why are you not yet au thyrus ?

What has he really done? I mean, he builds some nice IRL bots, but what else?

This, hosted a few tournaments, helps newbies, is constructive, experienced, etc, etc, etc. Need I say more ?

Or maybe I should compare your achievements to his...

So we decide who becomes Advanced User by comparing people to someone who has admitted to doing jack sh** for the community...?
No, they decide it by Naked Mud-Wrestling.
That was a very unpleasant experience, especially being drawn against Jonzu.  But I have access to the pool tables now, so it all worked out. Kind of.

Is it a forwards popup? It's a little hard to see the setup.
Forwards popup, yeah. Razors are on ME's, like HNM4 or something similar.

blah

398.5, Titanium 5, 7 ants, NPCFs, 8 razors. Great apart from the wedge being too long to self-right properly.

So I just received a phone call from "Windows Best Help".

They're not even trying any more, are they?

Great work with the forks. With enough practice, I reckon you'll be able to make pretty much anything.

Kurt's bots, I quite like Killjoy, Ne'er Do Well and Drumblebee. I hope they're the right ones. Spiky wedged rammer, armourless flipper and waspy drum thing.

You have built a piece of scaffolding, well done. I thought it was an Above All sort of machine to start with. Skin looks like the world's worst slot machine. =P Hopefully it works for the intended purpose.

090901's got it, 3 stacked Nifties cost less weight overall, while still giving enough power for the 6 HPZ's that a 36HS typically needs. You can also create a smaller chassis as a result, giving you a little more weight to play with. I think I came up with 16kg saved using 3 Nifties over 2 Blacks. I think I'd have to have the plow upside-down to keep the bot balanced, and I'll try to sort the setup out with the saved weight. It's only four 20cm extenders holding all the motors on at the moment.

That's true, the collision mesh is the same as the other seven walls of the arena. So your bot ends up floating above the ramp.

I've tried messing with the GMF to get rid of the hellraisers and flatten the pit covers, but when I compile it again, I just get a black screen and the crowd noise. Does anybody know why this would be happening?

Just got back from Silverstone. Great race, great view, shame about the result.
Bought a Lotus Team t-shirt.
I went a couple of years ago. I got into a bit of a spat with a hat vendor when I accidentally gave him a Scottish £20 note. Where abouts were you on the track? I was on a camping chair near Stowe when I went.

Another one. Tiny 36HS.

799.9, 3 stacked Nifties, 2 stacked SnapperII's, DSA. 6 HPZ's, 3 Casters and a ramplate. Also havoks too much, and I'm not very happy with the ramplate position. Schizophrenia's still better than this one.

It looks like it's on drugs to me. Reminds me more of the O^O face.

Pretty interesting design, though. Nice to seesome seldom-used components getting a look in.

to save weight :P
actually I was thinking of Kronic and it had something like that too in some way
Ah, I see. =P I had an earlier crusher design that had something similar with a light sensor in it, so a signal could be sent to the controller if it was a good time to activate the weapon.

Kurt's stuff looks pretty good too, I reckon you might be able to have some fun over at ARC with them.
