Is eruption's flipper criminally under-powered or is it just me, it seems the weakest of all the flipper, when it should be one of the most powerful...

I have a linx 8 tablet and with a usb controller, mapped the mouse to buttons and it works perfectly with the original ra2, won't run the mods at all although i can steam stream pretty well
Interesting, but I don't think its worth it. To each their own.

Linx tablet was £50 pounds i bought it to do college work but it can run most games around the time robot arena 2 was released at high settings. then i use an old ps2 controller i have, and also a hdmi cable.

I've finished my bot The spinner from WALES! wakkydude do you have yahoo mail? if so I'll be able to send it to you :)

If it's from wales i can make red and white stripes and a samurai sword on my bot and i'll have a good chance of beating it (rugby reference btw)

your crushing teeth are the wrong way around, they only do damage on the darker side. And yeah if you're not going for a super  real-life approach you need more weapons on it. If you are more into IRL looks, then the DSL mod may be of interest to you. It has a lot more components you can use to make your bot pretty. Ironforge is mostly about efficiency.
Wen is right though, the motors you are using for drive are really only meant to be used for weapons, as they have very high speed but low torque. There are dedicated drive motors, they say so in the description.

well damn that's embarrassing uhhhh... i never really liked dsl, i used it for redditbots and i couldn't build that good bots. How do you stick a weapons motor and make it look good

Picture of insides, bum axe thing did go through blade

Here's my first real attempt at building a bot (of decent standards. Trying to understand the whole idea of motor supports and stuff.

Feel like sqwak is on Eric level of epicness. And for the grudge matches can you go the overkill knife mode for great suisse v sqwak then flipper mode in the loser rumble

I suggest telling me what to use via PM rather than reply next time.

Next time, will there be a next time???

If you can do a melee of the bots that didn't get passed round one, plus great suisse v sqwak for fun

This is not against you but why are people talk like this redditbots thing was something special?
I'm sure you will improve your building the more time you spend in the botlab
I think you underestimate the importance of reddibots. It brought a lot of people to competition ra2. It was my first competition and my first competitive win and brought me here
